We empower our service users to live happy, independent, and purposeful lives
Keyline Care: Empowering Independence Through Tailored Support
At Keyline Care, we believe supported living should provide more than just a roof over someone's head; it should provide a platform for a self-determined life. We work alongside service users to ensure they maintain control over how, when, and where they receive support, fostering true independence within the community.
Who We Support
We provide bespoke, person-centred care packages for adults (18+) and older people (Under 65), living with complex needs, including:
-
Learning Disabilities & Autism
-
Mental Health Conditions
-
Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
-
Physical and Sensory Impairments
-
Behaviours that Challenge
Our Approach
No two individuals are the same, so we reject "one-size-fits-all" care plans. Whether a service user requires a few hours of check-in support per week or 24-hour complex clinical care, we focus on three core pillars:
1. Daily Living & Autonomy
We provide hands-on assistance with personal care, household management, and healthy cooking, ensuring the individual remains the primary driver of their daily routine.
2. Financial Empowerment
Our teams offer robust support with budgeting, benefit applications, and personal finance management to ensure long-term stability and confidence.
3. Community & Growth
Independence thrives through connection. We actively support our service users in accessing education, sustainable employment, and local social activities to combat isolation.
Behavioural Support (PBS)
Finding the right placement for individuals with behaviours that challenge can be difficult. At Keyline Care, we look beyond the behaviour to understand the "why."
-
Evidence-Based Strategy: We use PBS to improve quality of life and communication, reducing the need for restrictive practices.
-
Expert Training: Our staff are trained in accordance with the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) - formerly known as the MAPA programme.
-
Skill Building: We equip service users and their support networks with the tools to identify triggers, remove barriers to choice, and develop self-management techniques.
Accommodation Pathways
We offer flexible housing solutions designed to grow with the individual’s journey toward independence.
Independent Living
1
You could choose to live independently in your own flat or house, with as much or as little support as you need. This could be in one of our established properties, or we can work with you and our housing partners to source a property that meets your needs.
Shared Living
2
We can help you connect with other people who also want to live independently but aren’t yet ready to live alone. You will have your own space while benefiting from socialising with other like-minded people, sharing the communal spaces and the costs of household bills. We provide care and support in communal settings, from shared housing to larger purpose-built apartment buildings with communal facilities.
Specialist Housing for Young People aged 16+
3
Keyline Care are proud to support young people in their transition to adulthood. These are young people with learning disabilities and associated mental health needs, that cannot reside in children's residential homes for many different reasons. We support them in their own homes to reach their full potential with our specialist support staff who are highly trained to support their complex, emotional needs and behaviours that challenge.
