About Services Housing Team Careers Blog Contact < Back Keyline Care - July 2023 News and Updates Lydia Potrykus 1 Aug 2023 Rainy skies this month, but there's no stopping us! Here's everything we've been up to in July at Keyline Care... Although the weather has not been the best, we all at Keyline Care have made the most of July! Our service users have been busy as usual, so let's take a look at everything they achieved this last month... JT was up to her usual adventures this month! She enjoyed a holiday, alongisde our wonderful staff, with Narla by her side of course. It's so important to us at Keyline that our service users feel that they can live life to the fullest, while still receiving the support they need and deserve; seeing JT having fun on her holiday is absolutely what we strive for. Looks like JT had a great time: exploring new places, trying out some water sports, and showing off her skills on the pool table. This was earlier in July, so she even managed to grab the last of the sun and clear skies! JT and staff also went on a fun day out to Twin Lakes, a local theme park. We hope everyone had an amazing time, and didn't get too dizzy on all those rides (Narla decided she wasn't in the mood for roller coasters that day...)! That's everything we've got to share July 2023 at Keyline Care! As always, thank you for taking the time to share the past month with us, and remember to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for regular news and updates. See you next month! Previous Next

About Services Housing Team Careers Blog Contact < Back Keyline Care - January 2023 News and Updates Lydia Potrykus 31 Jan 2023 All the updates you need from Keyline Care for January 2023! The first month of 2023 is over already, and it’s been a busy month as always for Keyline. We've got some exciting news to share this month, so let's get right to it! Starting off with some updates from head office: We started the month off with the exciting launch of our new website. Keyline have new management for our social media and marketing this year and the first big change was our brand new website design. If you haven’t already, take a look at our new website and explore all that Keyline has to offer! You can find out more about us on our homepage, learn about our services, and meet the team. We’re hoping that our new website will better represent our quickly growing business and provide a space where we can share news and updates - just like this one. Keyline are also delighted to announced that we have expanded our services into Nottingham! Until this year we have had several properties based solely in Loughborough, and have always had hopes to expand to further local areas. This expansion is so exciting for Keyline and such a great way for us to start 2023 - both our head office staff and support workers have worked hard to make this happen, and we can’t wait to see what opportunities come next. Keyline wouldn’t be Keyline without our wonderful service users and support workers, so here’s a selection of what they’ve been up to this month: In acknowledgment to #BlueMonday , we shared TW and Custard’s adventure to London late last year alongside Keyline staff. They were so brave to try new things, visiting a corgi cafe meet-up and taking in the sights. Who could ever be blue with Custard around? JT has had a busy January! She has been spending time in the garden, building a hutch for some bunny friends alongside staff and doing some gardening to plant flowers for her mum’s anniversary. She also went on a long walk with Narla and staff. Last but not least, EG and staff enjoyed a shopping trip! So, thats a wrap on January 2023! Its been a great month for Keyline staff and service users. We're looking forward to what the rest of 2023 has in store for Keyline - make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram , and subscribe to our newsletter, for all the latest updates. Previous Next

At Keyline Care, our main goal is to provide the support and care you deserve. We all know life can be difficult at times, especially for those who require assistance in their day-to-day lives, which is why we pride ourselves on offering the most diligent and personalised care possible. We can offer support to service users of a variety of backgrounds, including those with Complex Needs, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Illness, and many more who need careful and consistent support. We can provide 24-hour support, starting at a ratio of 1:1 and increasing to any support level required. All Keyline Care staff are trained in the necessary fields of practical and theoretical care, as well as receiving specific training pertaining to individual service users' needs. Independently Regulated Quality Assured What is Supported Living? Supported living allows service users to live independently, while keeping control over how and when they receive support. At Keyline Care, we can support to achieve any personal goal - for example, becoming an active member of the local community. Our flexible support is tailored to the needs of each individual. Whether you’re looking for a few hours a week, or more, together we co-create personalised support plans focusing on your interests, priorities and skills. From help with personal care needs and managing finances, to finding education, work or leisure activities – you decide. The type of support you receive is controlled by you. Positive Behavioural Support It can be hard to find the right setting for those living with behaviours that challenge, and even harder to find a provider that takes time to understand why the behaviours occur in the first place. At Keyline Care we will support the service user and their close network to establish behaviour patterns, remove barriers that restrict choice, and equip them with the skills to reduce/self-manage their own behaviours. Our support staff are committed to delivering our Positive Behavioural Support Strategy and are trained in accordance with the principles of the MAPA programme (now known as Crisis Prevention Institute). In order to manage challenging situations, our staff are trained in means of re-direction and physical intervention. Types of Accomodation Independent Living 1 You could choose to live independently in your own flat or house, with as much or as little support as you need. This could be in one of our established properties, or we can work with you and our housing partners to source a property that meets your needs. Shared Living 2 We can help you connect with other people who also want to live independently but aren’t yet ready to live alone. You will have your own space while benefiting from socialising with other like-minded people, sharing the communal spaces and the costs of household bills. We provide care and support in communal settings, from shared housing to larger purpose-built apartment buildings with communal facilities. Specialist Housing for Young People aged 16+ 3 Keyline Care are proud to support young people in their transition to adulthood. These are young people with learning disabilities and associated mental health needs, that cannot reside in children's residential homes for many different reasons. We support them in their own homes to reach their full potential with our specialist support staff who are highly trained to support their complex, emotional needs and behaviours that challenge.
