With a strong track record in empowering adults to live safe, meaningful, and independent lives, we are now expanding into Ofsted-registered children’s residential care. This exciting new chapter reflects our commitment to supporting young people with high acuity needs, including emotional and behavioural challenges, developmental trauma, and attachment difficulties. Our new children’s homes are designed to offer intensive, trauma-informed therapeutic care, led by skilled teams and supported by clinical professionals. What makes Keyline unique is our seamless pathway from childhood through to adulthood. Our model offers young people the opportunity to receive focused therapeutic support in a stable home environment, and, when ready, to transition into our existing, well-established supported living and adult services. This approach promotes continuity, emotional security, and sustained progress through each stage of a young person’s journey. Head Office Updates Getting off to an exciting start, we are delighted to share that we have taken on a new property . Expanding our property management was one of our main goals coming in to 2024 - as a relatively young company run by a small team, we are so proud of the expansion we have achieved already this year and can’t wait to see what is yet to come. Service User Updates Taking on a new property has meant that we have welcomed a new service user to our Keyline Care family. HC is sporty and has been keeping active by attending a football club every week - achieving player of the week twice! In other sporty news, OB bravely took on the heights during a day out rock climbing. OB has also learned to bake a cake, and is well on the way to becoming a master chef! We are always proud to share our service users’ achievements, and OB has been making great progress. After some of careful saving, OB has bought himself a new TV and is very happy with his purchase. OB has also taken part in the CAST Angling Project and had a great day - receiving praise from both CAST and Keyline staff. TW and JT have been out and about with some of our favourite furry friends , attending a prettiest dog competition with Custard and Narla - with those smiles, they’re definitely our winners. TW and Custard stole the spotlight at a local dog agility show , and enjoyed a hike all the way up to the top of the peak at Dovedale. Last but not least, JT and Narla have been making a splash and keeping cool in style during the recent sunny weather. Staff Updates As usual, our support staff continue to outshine our expectations and provide outstanding care to our service users. Our employees of the month for April and May were Darcy, Keifer, Farai, John and Sharney. In particular, our employees of the month this quarter have been commended for their good engagement and positive relationship building with service users, positive attitudes, and ability to take advice on-board. About Services Housing Team Careers Blog Contact < Back Keyline Care - June 2023 News and Updates Lydia Potrykus 3 Jul 2023 This is what we got up to at Keyline Care in June 2023... The sun has been shining, skies blue, and moods happy this month - our services users have had a busy month and we can’t wait to share it all with you. Fundraising Fun TW has been busy getting creative and making some posters to share with us all his plans to take part in an inflatable fun-run in order to raise money for charity! We love helping others and tasing awareness at Keyline and we’re so proud of TW’s progress - it’s so exciting to see our service users making plans and expanding their horizons. Check out TW’s posters below, and to get involved click here for more information on the event (and even better, if you’d like to donate to TW’s fund then please do get in touch on our socials). Swimming and Sunny Days JT enjoyed the warm weather this month! She took a trip to the pool for a splash and a break from the heat, absolutely rocking the goggles look alongside our staff member. As always, JT has been taking her walks with Narla and staff - walking is great for your mental and physical health, but even more so in this wonderful weather (in the UK, we have to take advantage of the sun when we can!). Furry Friends It wouldn’t be a Keyline update without some news on our furry friends! JT has been a great dog mummy as usual, making sure Narla stays cool in the sun (and looking adorable of course). Narla also got treated to a sleepover with a VIP guest this month, our lovely managing director Rebecca’s dog Mabel, as well as a meet-up in the park with some other Keyline pups for a sunny afternoon adventure. Master Chef Last but not least, our wonderful EG has even showing off his culinary skills and keeping busy with some cooking! Looks like he’s whipping up a healthy snack... That's everything we've been up to in June 2023 at Keyline Care! Thank you for taking the time to share the past month with us, and remember to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for regular news and updates. See you next month! Previous Next
